I left the dating game years ago but I Google all new potential hedgehog owners. Sometimes when sending an email to them the first time I get their facebook page come up and I go and look at that too. So far I haven't discovered anything bad but if I did they would not be getting a hedgehog from me.

few, though, know about how not long ago it was considered a taboo.. first, there was that dc talk a couple of years back where they nearly demonized simply the ownership of a smart phone, ipads (i phones, blackberries, etc) let alone the use of them at meetings.
they brought out that they were a waste of time, expensive and that they exposed a christian to satan's world on the internet.

Personally I don't need further proof holy spirit doesn't exist (can be fooled if you still believe in it) but I imagine it is a very important "proof" to those trying to wake up a loved one especially if he is a prominent and well known CO.

while in discussion with an elder from my old congregation, he asked if i had been given an opportunity to see the new bibles yet.. i told him yes that a family member had showed me one a few days back and some of the improvements (changes) that were in it.. as our conversation went along he asked me what i thought of the color.
i said well its certainly different from the black cover i was so used to or even going back further a few decades the green covered bibles when i was a child.
(we both got a chuckle out of that).
Perhaps they will be introducing more "grey areas" in their doctrines
